Business Administration Students' Perceptions of Formative Assessment as an Instructional Tool
This study with 112 Ecuadorian students revealed that their perceptions of formative assessment are moderately positive. Although congruence and authenticity were well-rated, consultation (student participation) was the lowest. It is recommended to improve the authenticity of tasks and student involvement in evaluation criteria.
Educational modality and performance: Differential patterns by major in a university cohort before, during, and after the COVID-19 pandemic
This longitudinal study with 442 students showed that COVID-19 virtuality impacted performance unequally. Health programs improved and finished with a net positive balance. In contrast, technical programs like Civil Engineering declined upon returning to face-to-face, recording losses. The conclusion is that differentiated educational strategies are required by discipline.
Artificial Intelligence in the Transformation of the Teaching-Learning Process
This correlational study surveyed 234 Business Administration students regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Results revealed a high use of tools like ChatGPT and a positive and significant correlation (ρ = 0.827) between the use of AI and the transformation of the teaching-learning process. It is concluded that the strategic use of AI creates more dynamic and innovative educational environments.
